Sanctuary of Loyola
Visit to the Sanctuary of Loyola, birthplace of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the company of Jesus. In this monumental complex we will be able to visit the birthplace of the Saint and the beautiful baroque basilica.
Hermitage of Antigua
Later on we will go to Zumárraga to visit the "Cathedral of hermitages". The hermitage of Antigua.
After the visit to the hermitage of Antigua we will be able to enjoy an excellent meal in a local restaurant.
Sanctuary of Arantzazu
After lunch we will head to the Shrine of Arantzazu. It is a Marian Catholic sanctuary where the Virgin of Aránzazu, patron saint of Guipúzcoa, is venerated. We will visit the basilica built in the 1950s, where several important artists such as Jorge Oteiza, Eduardo Chillida and Nestor Basterretxea intervened with their works.
